CMC Makeup Artist School is a private Makeup Academy with classes in West Hollywood California, Dallas, and Austin Texas.

CMC Makeup School is not a cosmetology school and focuses exclusively on MAKEUP EDUCATION as well as PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT & career education. All instructors are professional Makeup Artists with years in the industry, who bring their knowledge & experience to the classroom & curriculum. Students receive a certificate of completion for each class taken, which enhances their portfolio, prepares them for certain jobs & makes them eligible for professional makeup artist discounts & memberships. However, there is no standard licensing regulation for make-up artists, so students will still need to communicate with their respective state authority for information on business licensing if they wish to offer more than makeup in the Beauty industry.

CMC offers beginning to advanced Makeup training, portfolio development & career education for professional Makeup artists & individuals in the Beauty Industry. Although the focus in CMC’s classes are Makeup education for Beauty, Glamour & Fashion makeup, we also know that career & marketing education is just as important for the freelance artist & entrepreneur. Student Makeup artists will learn Hi-Def makeup, airbrush, airbrush tanning, fashion, beauty & glamour make up - for bridal, retail, private clients & events, runway, photography make-up, TV, videos, movies and more.

All classes come with full Professional Makeup Kits, Certificates of completion & professional photoshoots to help you build & launch your personal portfolio.

Our shorter classes give you the flexibility & practicality to still work, taking less of your time, while thoroughly covering all the essentials you will need to become a successful makeup artist.
We know that you can learn in less then half the time what it would take you a month to learn in other makeup schools, at a small portion of the price.

CMC Instructors are all professional working freelance makeup artists including guest Celebrity Makeup Masters, with many years of experience & knowledge in both makeup application as well as the how to’s of running successful careers. They will bring current industry knowledge in the fields of Beauty and Fashion makeup application into the classroom. Class size is a 6 student maximum to insure the best training. Our classes are taught with 2 instructors and hands on practice from day one, so that techniques are learned properly.
